A tax lien is a lien imposed on property by law to secure payment of taxes. Tax liens may be imposed for delinquent taxes owed on real property or personal property, or as a result of failure to pay income taxes or other taxes. This can effect you because the federal and local government have priority lien rights on a property.
Following are the steps necessary to do a Tax Liens' Search:
Step 1:
When you are on the main form, the first thing you should do if you want to do a tax lien search is to click the 'Search Data' button (Fig 1A).
(Fig 1A)

Step 2:
You will see the following form, although instead of having the saved search 'Tax Liens' already selected, it may be on a different search. Click on the 'Tax Liens' search to bring up the right selection. Refer to (Fig 2A) for clarification.
(Fig 2A)

Step 3:
Once you've selected 'Tax Liens (Federal & State) the only thing left to do is hit 'Search Data' to see the results of your search. (See Figure 2A, above)
That's basically it. The other thing you could do, is if you wanted a printable report you could click Make Report instead of 'Search Data'.
Upon successful completion of step you will see your results in a nice grid, which might look similar to this (See Fig 3A):
