The Search Form (See Fig A) has all the configurations that you can set to perform a search, create a report, or create a summary, in CreditWatchExpress.
Things that you can do with this form are:
1. Perform A Search
2. Run, modify, create a saved search.
3. Perform a Saved Search.
4. View all documents that match to your customer list.
5. Create an Individual Report or Create an Individual Summary.

Following is an explanation of what each of the buttons, and fields on the form do, click on any of the links to jump to that section:
Part A: Saved Searches.
Part B: Sort Results By.
Part C: Choose Dates to Search
Part D: Limit Report to Specific Code.

Part A: Saved Searches
Part B: Sort Results By

To specify how you want your results to be sorted select the Sort Results By drop down list and specify your preference.
1. Record #: sorts by the recording file number.
2. Names: sorts the report by the names that appear on the document.
3. Record Date: sorts by the date of the recorded document.
4. Document Code: sorts by the type of document.
5. Company Name: sorts by the company names in your customer list.

Part C: Type Of Search

To specify the type of search you want to perform select from the options available under Type of Search.
1. Show Derogatory: Filters your results to display only derogatory documents.
2. Match By Customer: This option will only display results matched against your customer list.
3. Match By Document Code: Match by document code will only display documents that you have selected from the Limit Report to Specific Code form and does not match on your customer list. This option disables Show Derogatory and will display all selected document codes regardless if they are derogatory or not.
4. Match By Customer & Document: Match by Customer and Document will search by both your selected documents and your customer list.

Part D: Choose Dates To Search

To configure the amount of data that you want CreditWatchExpress to search by choose an option under Choose Dates to Search.
1. Use Current Week: This will only search the current week of data or the set of data from your most recent update.
2. Use All Data: This will search CreditWatchExpress' entire database for results.
3: Go Back (# Weeks): You can specify a number of weeks to search by here.

Part E: Limit Report to Specific Code
To configure your search to filter by specific document codes you simply select the document codes from the Limit Report to Specific Code form. You can check off an unlimited amount of codes to include in your search.
To condense your view of the form to see only your selected documents simply click the Show Selected Codes Only check box. This will hide all unselected codes from the form. Uncheck to view all documents again.
By clicking Clear All Codes, all code selections will be cleared and the form will be reset to its default state of nothing selected.

Part F: Search Data, Make Summary, Make Report, Close Form

Click the Search Data button to perform your search and display it in a DataGrid.
Click the Make Summary button to create a Summary report of your search results.
Click the Make Report button to create a report of your search results.
Click Close to close the Search Form.
