Import Form

The Import Form (Figure A) is the form from which you select fields from your imported CSV and link them to the fields required for CreditWatchExpress' customer list. After making your selections simply click OK to process your import.

Following is an explanation of what each of the buttons, and fields on the form do, click on any of the links to jump to that section:

Part A: Path To CSV.

Part B: Fields In CSV.

Part C: Match To Form.

Part A: Path To CSV.

This displays the literal path where your CSV to import is located. To change the path or to load another spreadsheet click Change.

Part B: Fields In CSV

This section of the form displays the field names of the CSV you have loaded. To the left displays all the fields listed that CreditWatchExpress can accept. However, please note, only a few of these are actually required.

Required Fields:

Company Name: The name of a company.

Owner Name: The name of the owner of the company. This can be input in one field or by keeping the names separate (First Name/Last Name/Middle) as shown in the example.

Optional Fields:

Customer Number

First Name

Last Name

Middle Name

Part C: Match to Form

The Match To Form designates the fields that you will be matching to from your customer list to load into the CreditWatchExpress customer list.

Customer Number: Your Customer Numbers you want to link from your customer list to CreditWatchExpress' customer list.

Company Name: The Company Name you are linking from your CSV to CreditWatchExpress.

Format:

Last First Middle: specifies that your single field Owner Name includes the name formatted as Last, First, Middle.

First Middle Last: specifies that your single field Owner Name includes the name formatted as First, Middle, Last.

* Middle Name is not required and names formatted without middle names are accepted under either of these formats.

Last: The owner's last name if it is in a separate field.

First: The owner's first name if it is in a separate field.

Middle: The owner's middle name if it is in a separate field. *Not Required.
