In addition to being able to import in a list of companies with owners, you have the option of hand-editing the list. Adding a company is pretty straightforward and can be described in a few easy steps:
Click the 'Add New' button in the 'Edit Company' Frame (See Fig 1A). This will make all of the fields in the 'Edit Company' Frame go blank. In addition the list on the left will no longer have a company selected.
(Fig 1A)

The next thing you do after clicking the 'Add New' button, is to type in the name of the company you would like to add (Refer to Fig 2A).
(Fig 2A)

The last thing that you need to do is either set the match level or leave it at it's default. (See Fig 3A, below) (The default setting is 'Level 2' which is the first two words of the company's name.

Here is a brief explanation of how the match levels work for companies:
This table uses for the example a made-up company named 'ARIZONA DESERT LANDSCAPING USING ZEN'

To talk a little more on the subject, if you examine the 'Literal Example' column and our made-up company name, you would want to choose carefully which match level you chose. Match Level 1, for example, would match on every single company in your database which happened to begin with the word 'Arizona'. Furthermore, perhaps the name 'Arizona Desert' is shared among more than one company. Therefore, unless the name 'Arizona Desert Landscaping' is shared by another company, the most likely level to choose for 'Arizona Desert Landscaping Using Zen' would probably be 3 or 4. Sometimes our source data spells things or formats company names slightly differently, so don't set your match level any higher than you need to or you might miss some results.
The final step is to hit the 'Save' button. Your company will be added to the list on the left, and will become selected (See Fig 4A).
